This is so true - "Confidence is gained when you realize you can choose to fall or not to fall." I know this feeling from snowboarding. Before doing a crazy new trick I'd be certain that it's going to look beautiful and I'm going to land it. Having that certainty makes you feel safe so therefor you take risks and progress. Doubt and fear makes you fall.
