The Live Unbound blog exists to inspire anyone who strives to discover what they are truly capable of achieving.

ALWAYS take the scenic route

On May 1st we'll be taking a road trip to shoot "Go Seek" which is all about seeking experiences that challenge us, inspire us and remind us why life is so incredible. Email me if you have ideas on epic locations which are off the beaten path!

Also on April 19th I'll be speaking at TEDxUIUC about the Live Unbound journey. Never spoke in front of a large crowd before but it's a pretty good first to have.

Last but not least if you're an adventure photographer and want to connect with fellow creators and share your images then join our LU photographers group.

BE COURAGEOUS THIS MONTH

Take on a challenge that you always thought was beyond your capability.  Pursue an idea despite not knowing if people will respond positively.  Dive into a relationship even if you've been hurt.  Embrace vulnerability and reveal yourself without holding back.

Exposing who we are (good and bad) takes lots of courage.  The root of the word courage is cor—the Latin word for heart.  It's originally meaning was “To connect by revealing all of your heart.”   For more on this watch Brene Brown's Ted talk.

STROKE OF INSIGHT

When the great Rabbi Moshe of Kobryn died his disciple was asked, "What was the most important thing to your master?" His immediate response was, "Whatever he happened to be doing at the moment." You've heard it a million times before, "live in the moment". Probably because it feels amazing. But why is it so hard to do? This Ted talk changed my life so take a moment to listen to this amazing story.
